Ebay Land

Long, long ago, in a faraway land, my son was a huge fan of the movie Cars and was participting in something quite rare for him -- collecting. In an effort to get the ones so hard to find (because ebay sellers bought them all as soon as they hit the shelf) -- I started buying in lots on ebay, and selling the extras.

From a simple beginning, what a roller coaster. Soon, just like other ebay sellers, I was buying them up when I could find them and selling the extras on ebay to try to recoup the huge prices I was paying for the ones he needed.

A huge learning experience. Soon the cars were pretty much everywhere on ebay. It is with pixar cars that I learned:

Wait long enough. Nothing currently made is going to stay that rare.
