A Note on Volume.

If I had realized before I started just how difficult it could be to have "home-grown" -- non-commercial -- music on a web site, I would have, instead, just offered to mail copies out.  Good grief.  

(Assuming, of course, that anyone cared enough to ask for it, which is, of course, assuming a bit much.)

I didn't know. And having started something, it just is not in my nature to stop.

I have tried a ton of different parameter settings to attempt to stop the fluctuation in volume from one file to another.  Nothing has been entirely successful because each midi file recorded volume information for each and every track (up to 16).  Since these were initially recorded for an entirely different setting, a setting where volume control was in my hands at the time of playback, this was not a consideration at the time.

But oh it is now. Modifying that much data is going to take me... hmmm ... call it "awhile".

So ... yes ... I do know it's happening. And I do know it's annoying.  And I'm working on it.
